Wings of Hope for Trauma was inaugurated on 18/10/2011 with the Governor of Bethlehem, Abd Al-Fatah Hamayel, and the Minister of Social Affairs, Mrs. Majeda Al-Masri conducting the ceremony. Additionally many Palestinian institutions from different areas and the larger public participated, and it was attended by representatives of the foundation Wings of Hope Germany.

On 16/10/2011, Wings of Hope for Trauma participated in the International Day of Psychological Health organized by the TRC/Ramallah in Al-Quds University. The event was attended by a number of local Organizations working in the field of Mental Health. Wings of Hope for Trauma familiarized the participants with the different sections of the organization, its objectives and its services.  These services contribute to raising awareness on psychological health and its importance. During the event, educational brochures on trauma were displayed. Ursula Mukarker represented the organization in this activity, and expressed her thanks to the organizers.

 

 

 

 

Wings of Hope for Trauma organized a workshop for the staff of Treatment and Rehabilitation Center for Victims of Torture (TRC) – Hebron and the Palestinian Counseling Centre (PCC) - Jerusalem on 14/10/2011 in its offices in Bethlehem, under the supervision of German expert Peter Klentzan from Wings of Hope Germany, and Ursula Mukarker from Wings of Hope for Trauma.
